Scott L. Philippe, OD
Dr. Scott L. Philippe attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky for his undergraduate studies. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1988.
Voted North Carolina Young Optometrist of the Year in 2001, and North Carolina Optometrist of the Year in 2009, Dr. Philippe has also received several national leadership awards. Dr Philippe was also the 2010 recipient of the John Robinson Award for Clinical Excellence. He remains very active with civic work serving as Chairman of the Swing for Sight Golf Tournament from 1997-2003, and serving on the NC Governor's Early Childhood Vision Comission from 2006-present. Some of Dr. Philippe's interests include golf, rugby, volunteering as a youth baseball coach and spending time with his wife Michelle, and three children- Zack, Brit and Taylor.
Dr. Philippe's Memberships and Associations include: American Optometric Association, North Carolina Optometric Society (Past President), Piedmont Optometric Society (Past President), Prevent Blindness NC (Board of Directors) and TLC Laser Eye Centers (Advisory Board).
Michael J. Johnson, OD
Dr. Michael J. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus.
Some of Dr. Johnson's interests include volunteering as a youth soccer coach and serving as a committee member for the Swing for Sight Golf Tournament.
A native of New York, Dr. Johnson and his wife, Lisa, have lived in the Charlotte area since 1993. They have three children, daughters Madison and Michaela and son Ryan.
A former Division I collegiate soccer player at the University of Dayton, Dr. Johnson serves as a volunteer youth soccer coach and plays in the Charlotte Adult Premier Soccer League. He also enjoys golf and other outdoor sports in his free time.

Rebecca S. Major, OD
Dr. Rebecca Major completed her undergraduate at Ferris State University and went on to attend The Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State. She graduated in 2007 with high distinction and soon after relocated to North Carolina with her husband.
During school Dr. Major was a member of many student organizations and was president of the Optometry Student Government. She has a strong belief in community service and was a member of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, participating in a mission trip to provide eye care and glasses to the poor population in San Carlos Mexico. She also received several awards, including the Acuvue Eye Health Advisor Citizenship Award.
Dr. Major's personal interests include running, dance, reading, boating and hiking. She recently completed her first marathon and a hike to the top of Mt. Whitney in California, the highest point in the continental U.S.
Dr. Major's current membership and activities include: American Optometric Association, North Carolina State Optometric Society and Piedmont Optometric Society.
